Well, My favorite Company does it again. Yup its Google! Google Labs India has come up with a new service which allows you to receive SMS from any website which provides RSS Feeds, the service is called SMS Channels. The Service allows you to receive updates to any RSS Feeds directly to your mobile. Let’s say you have economic times news website, publishing news throughout the day, and you want to make sure you don’t miss even one of those, so you go to Google channel and subscribe to the ET Channel or you can create yours too.

You just need have a mobile phone with an operator from India (AirTel, Idea!, Vodafone, etc), and you can receive alerts throughout the day.

You can also restrict on how many messages you want to receive within a day, so that you are not bugged also.
