Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) has its own reputation and is considered next to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). It ranks 7th among all Indian engineering colleges and #1 in whole Asia for its course in Mechanical Engineering. Like all other people I also stereotype people, places and what not , so I thought it must be big and it was, I thought it must be flooded with students wearing specs and it was (the crowd was great) and I thought they got to be strong, but I was proved wrong. I was there for getting my cousin admitted to the course, about a week ago she got her leg fractured some how, but she managed to reach there. Anyways I was very much impressed after seeing the campus, it looked no less than an organized military area – big, green and virtually noiseless. We entered the building with a big banner which read – “Admissions 2008″. We entered there and saw huge crowd of students and parents (almost thrice that of student population) stuck to the notice board reading their results seeing where they or their son/daughter has landed on the counseling list.
