Pixaaza Technology

Here’s another quickie, Google now backs Pixazza a new advertisement technology, its quite similar to what Google has been doing with the text – showing advertisements based on the text on the webpages. Pixazza is very similar to that except that it applies to the pictures. People tag the pictures (or part of the picture) with the links of the online merchants, they are given commissions based on the number of hits, their links recieve.

Pixazza’s “experts” are paid a commission based on sales from their links. The start-up also employs reviewers that track the links. “There’s a work queue of all the images that come in and you can see which are high-traffic images and which are interesting to users,” said Bob Lisbonne, chief executive of Pixazza.

Pixazza has signed up with Amazon.com, Bluefly and Zappos. Pixazza is currently targeting Fashion industry as per the teh CEO Bob Lisbonne. However there are other websites which are following similar for years, one of them being – Coolspotters. Somewhere in the world of web even Microsoft has filed a patient for the technology even before Pixazza, but I guess they got late!

But still I believe, Pixazza has an edge over everything -

It has “the publisher” involved, that means people can use a single line of javascript to use technology for images on their site.

People will do anything to make money (even if it takes hours to tag pictures), so tagging isn’t a problem, its good.

They have Google to support them!

Google can utilize Pixazza’s technology with their image labeler, and ultimately with Adsense

Google can ultimately acquire Pixazza

Well that was it, It wasn’t quick.. right? Anyways I hope you have learnt a new technology coming your way.

And we could easily see Government websites with Google Search engines – (*) Site Search, () Web Search.

But the point to be noted here your honor is

People do the search,

Google pays money for the ads clicked on the searched results

For all the .GOV.IN and .NIC.IN government websites, who takes the money ? I just want to know who’s the person? Is it the government using its own code to place search engines and getting all the money or is it some one else? We’ve got 2 options to find it out..

Keep Thinking – You’ll never know!

File an RTI – Let’s see If I’m able to do so!

Till then keep thinking!

Well guess what hit the net this time? Politicians, to be specific – L.K.Advani, well yes after polluting the society with their hypocritical and manipulative word plays, politicians are targeting Internet to reach the wider and a bit literate audience. The thing that actually shook me off was the Google Advertisement for Mr. Advani. It presented Mr. Advani more of a product, I was seriously thinking what amount could have been paid on per day basis for Mr. Advani on Google Adwords – 10p, 50p or.. 1 Rs …anyways at least he’s following the Rules of marketing – Sell Yourself.

L.K. Advani on Google Ads

The whole solution (except the blog) powered by Tetrain Information Services, I still remember this co., in 2006 I saw the website came to know about the first ever technical support for Open Source products in India (esp. Linux). The co. has expanded to more Open Source, see their website and you’ll know instantly. Convincing politicians to have their presence felt on the Internet is quite a deal. At least, if not monetary they would be getting some personal corporate benefits for sure.

Well here’s a quick view on the solution by Tetrain, easy to decode .

<img class="size-medium wp-image-288" title="lkadvaniin_admin" src="http://www.delhitechies.com/DTBlog/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/lkadvaniin_admin-300x204.jpg" alt="Joomla!
The wholes website is powered by Open Source softwares. At least at one point, I think people take good decision, I’m talking about the Tetrain and NOT Mr. Advani. Well, Mr. Advani is online, the site has a lot of feedback points. I’m just worried that ..

are these feedbacks even read ?

I’m (100*100)% sure that these contents are part of SEO tricks by the undertaking organization.

Flood site with all Goodie, Goodie contents : Some of them even without consent of Mr. Advani.

I would hardly dream of Mr. Advani going through his websites or the comments of his blogs,

Assuming he does, he is sure to go for hard-paged prints, coupled with the invaluable excuse of the falling short of time to view his own website/blog/forum. They all are the same Environmental Suckers.

FACT: There is no post on the forum that has a user named ‘advani‘ or even a part of it. As for now, its all other users who are posting and consoling each other, and if my gut feeling is intact, its the same old trick, creating fake user accounts and starting of the with the posts – impersonating.

Anyways, I would be signing off!
